After a long day shooting a wedding on Saturday and edits on Sunday it was nice to relax a little yesterday and head to see one of the two Jubilee beacons being lit.
The pleasant weather meant a really good gathering and Norfolketc kindly opened up their grounds where a local band entertained the crowds and barbecues were provided for people to bring their own food to cook on.
Four local children led a torch-lit procession to the beacon before it was set alight along with over 4000 around the rest of the UK. The other local beacon was on top of Blakeney Church which could be seen from Morston and with an almost full moon rising as the beacons were lit there was a great atmosphere.
